Parachutes
The drogue parachute (red and white) and pilot parachute (orange and black) are both 2 ft. in diameter and eliptical in shape. The drogue chute functions as a preliminary means to slow descent, without causing the vehicle to drift outside the range. The pilot chute acts as a guide for the main chute to fully open. The main parachute is 10 ft. in diameter and toroidal in shape. The main parachute functions as the primary means of slowing descent.

Compact Removable Avionics Module (CRAM)
The CRAM consists of triple redundant altimeter and charge systems. Black powder is housed in PVC pipe and ignited based on altitude as determined by the altimeter. Each system controls one drogue and one main parachute charge. These systems are housed in a twist-to-lock mechanism for easy integration with the vehicle.
