The vehicle body was broken into four separable sections consisting of the nose cone, the payload bay, the recovery tube, and the fin can.
3D Printed nose cone
The nose cone was 3D printed to allow for customization and reduce weight. The three components were then carefully epoxied together to form the nose cone.
Fins
Trapezoidal fins were cut on a CNC machine from fiberglass and concentrically epoxied around the fin can. In order to ensure they dried straight, a mount was constructed out of cardboard and dowel rods.
Cessaroni L-1395 Motor
This motor allowed the vehicle to reach its target off-rail velocity and apogee without exceeding NASA's motor class restrictions.
